All EAP programs are conducted by a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist,
equine specialist and one or more horses. Special arrangements
can be made available to cater to your specific needs.
Individual, Family or Couple Therapy Program:
Sessions for personal growth and development as an individual, family or couple.
Program is usually 1 ½ hours (depending on the clients’ needs).
Group Therapy/Residential Treatment Facility:
Generally groups meet for a minimum of 4-6 sessions for 1 ½ to 2 ½ hours
(depending on the clients’ needs) each session. There is a maximum of 6 participants.
Corporate Development/Team Building:
Upper management and staff team building activities to strengthen communication,
respect and boundaries within an organization or business. Two sessions available:
½ day seminar for 4 hours or full day seminar for 6-8 hours.
Maximum 10 participants per group.
Purpose:
To provide an experiential therapeutic approach to individual or group therapy in a
rural ranch like setting utilizing horses.
Objective:
To provide a non-threatening therapeutic setting.
To develop specific life skills in the areas of but not limited to:
- Respect
- Self-Esteem
- Communication Skills
- Conflict Resolution
- Responsibility
- Boundaries
- Healthy Choices
Goals:
- To develop healthy individuals.
- To teach clients how to handle difficult life situations in a positive manner.
- To assist in enhancing and /or developing interpersonal and communication skills that can be transferred into home, school and the community.
- Treat clients where other therapies have been unsuccessful.
